the amazing thing about my “office” is I really have no problem visiting it on a day off.
hello four day weekend.
yesterday I went up a trail up tongue river canyon with my 2 best friends.
we all carried our fair share of weight yesterday too.
we were well prepared.

it was so green and absolutely gorgeous! I love the smell of the forest and being outdoors!
Twogs managed to find a nice mud puddle spring…
…and then proceed to lay down in it. awesome twogs. just FREAKING awesome.
then she decided to roll in the grass.
then she decided to visit the mud puddle again and dig a rock out of the center of it.
the pictures don’t exactly do justice, but she was a muddy mess.
thankfully we had crossed over a creek and she was able to clean off and lay down in that to cool off.
we got back to town and all 3 of us crashed. we hiked our butts off.
this morning I got up and accomplished a nice, sweaty 8 miles across town and back. jumped in the ice bath, then showered. now we’re off to Hubby’s heaven…a car show!
